CONTEMPORARY SCULPTURE INSTALLATION

DISTORTION I : DUFFY

In my Distortion series, I take inspiration from pixelated photographs to illustrate how our memories become blurred with the passing of time. Selected pixels are moved from their positions, subtly creating a vague resemblance to the original picture. Wrapped coils obtrude from painted wood panels that serve as the representation of these pixels, forcing new distorted connections of the memory.
