“It seems like every story from my childhood is a love letter to finding different forms of creative self expression. I’ve always been attracted to finding new uses for objects. My first jewelry-making experience included using seashells I gathered during my family’s weekend beach trips. I’d seek out the most unusual shells to take back home, where I would use a kitchen knife to carve out tiny holes in each seashell and transform them into necklaces and wearable art.”
